Join the official launch of the The Lowest Wage Challenge alongside two Nashville ethical brands Nisolo and ABLE.
With rampant labor abuses still happening in the fashion industry and 98% of workers are kept in a cycle of poverty due to oppressively low wages theses brands are taking the first step in doing something. With the belief that first step to addressing this issue is for brands to be honest about current baseline - both of the brands have just recently published their lowest factory wages and are asking other brands to do the same.

Khana is on a mission to ensure every girl has the panties she needs to manage menstruation and stay in school, starting with Uganda.
On Monday, November 4 from 7-9 PM, Khana is coming to Minneapolis, Minnesota to host a conversation about the possibilities panties create for girls around the globe. In addition to being fed and watered, you'll have an opportunity to hear from our Founder, Shayna Fowler, and panelists (to be announced). You'll also be the first to shop our limited-edition 'Minneapolis' line.
Getting dressed is something we all do every day. But can we make more ethical choices about what we choose to wear? Listen to four experts in the field talk about how to do it, and pick up a copy of Elizabeth L. Cline's new book The Conscious Closet right at the event.
Panelists: Elizabeth L. Cline , Jonit Bookheim, Abigail Glaum-Lathbury, and Isabel Varela.
Join us to swap, mend, and learn at an evening with Elizabeth L. Cline, author of the new book The Conscious Closet. From clothing repair, to textile recycling, to ethically made new clothing, she'll talk about the tools you need to build your own conscious closet.
We live in, sleep in, and walk upon textiles. Our connection to them runs deeper than just their functionality. Whether they are steeped in our ancestral history, or they saw us through a life-changing moment, each fabric and textile object has a story to tell. Join us for an intimate night to hear stories spoken from local individuals telling of their beloved textile pieces. This program is presented by Textile Week MSP and the American Craft Council.
Curious about what’s happening at the intersection of sustainability and fashion? Join us at The Shudio for a casual meet up to get to meet like-minded individuals as we talk all things ethics and aesthetics.
